Been searching for you wouldn't believe how long if I told you. Came across a South African newspaper called Mail & Guardian. You don't even have to be part of their newspaper staff and can blog for them. Okay not for them actually but they allow anyone to blog. They've since changed the blog part of their site which is now at Amagama.com for bloggers(they should've left it as it was because now it seems as if Amagama is not part of their paper. To me anyways).
Today I found a newspaper in the United Kingdom. The Daily Telegraph. They too have readers as bloggers.
So why can't I find one Canadian newspaper which allows people such as myself to blog on or through their site? I've often suggested, and have actually emailed numerous newspapers, Canadian newspapers about this and not one of them, as far as I know, has allowed readers to blog via their site. Not one of the people I emailed has emailed back. What a shame! I emailed them even before I was aware of any paper doing this.
By the way if there is a Canadian newspaper which accepts the ordinary citizen as a blogger, as South Africa's The Mail & Guardian and the U.K.'s The Daily Telegraph do, please let me know.
