Need New Place to Write Since Coffee Shop Closed

While it's true as I mentioned in the past I am very seriously STILL looking for an apartment/roommate in Mississauga that's one of the reasons I haven't been blogging much.

The other reason I haven't been blogging a lot is due to my all-time favourite coffee shop nearby closing. That was the one and only place I could read newspapers and magazines as well as observe people and the surroundings around me.

And I had tons of stuff to say as in my other blogs. Since then I've been to various coffee shops and restaurants but just can't get inspired to write as I used to. I still write on occasion but until I find another place where I am inspired to write. Even at home won't do the trick. It has to be elsewhere. I won't be on here much...I think. That is until I find a coffee shop(or other public place)where I can go to being my usual annoying self annoying everyone with the numerous blog posts. But at least with something worthy(or newsworthy)to say.

God's Gift(of Money) to the Selected Few

Sorry haven't been blogging lately. Seriously looking for an apartment and/or roommate. Anyways, the picture above is from a story in a recent Mississauga News This Week article.

This couple won a major lottery prize twice. Once years ago and once not so long ago. Don't know about you but makes me wonder if God has his favourite people he'd prefer to win often and others who it seems God doesn't want to win even $10,000 in the lottery. Why are some people struggling financially(living in a terrible apartment) no matter how hard they have been trying to find a second job while others seem to strike it rich more than once?

Does God have favourites too? As crazy as it sounds I'm more convinced than ever He does. How else do you explain this(and some others)winning large lottery prizes more than once in a lifetime while others can't get a break no matter how hard they try?

Deaf-Mute Asking for Money. Legite or Scam? It's a Scam I've Learned.

Have you ever had a person approach you with a business-sized card? On the card it claims the person is a deaf-mute and is asking for money to give them. There was one time I gave $2. About 2 hours later I saw this "deaf" and "mute" person talking and it was obvious he could hear 100 per cent.

I bring this up now because as I was checking my emails at this internet cafe another man(I won't say gentleman in case it's another scam)and I have no doubt it is too, approached me with the card. Less than 3 minutes ago. This time I didn't give any money.

If he was really a deaf-mute I'd love to give and would have though I am part of the working poor myself.

I'd love to hear from hard of hearing people. Do any deaf-mute people actually go around with this card asking for money? Or is this another scam as when I got fooled the first time?

Any Canadian Newspapers Accept Readers as Bloggers?

Been searching for you wouldn't believe how long if I told you. Came across a South African newspaper called Mail & Guardian. You don't even have to be part of their newspaper staff and can blog for them. Okay not for them actually but they allow anyone to blog. They've since changed the blog part of their site which is now at Amagama.com for bloggers(they should've left it as it was because now it seems as if Amagama is not part of their paper. To me anyways).

Today I found a newspaper in the United Kingdom. The Daily Telegraph. They too have readers as bloggers.

So why can't I find one Canadian newspaper which allows people such as myself to blog on or through their site? I've often suggested, and have actually emailed numerous newspapers, Canadian newspapers about this and not one of them, as far as I know, has allowed readers to blog via their site. Not one of the people I emailed has emailed back. What a shame! I emailed them even before I was aware of any paper doing this.

By the way if there is a Canadian newspaper which accepts the ordinary citizen as a blogger, as South Africa's The Mail & Guardian and the U.K.'s The Daily Telegraph do, please let me know.

More Fave Videos

As already mentionede yesterday due to the other page taking too long to load I'm slowly moving the videos from that page to various posts on here. And because I really don't have anything to write, I want to but have nothing to say(does this mean all my rmabling so far is "nothing"? Ever since my two favourite coffee shops closed I haven't been able to find a place where I can relax and write.
